Adam Perry of Efficiency Works (Platte River Power Authority) will speak first, providing an overview of the commercial rebates available for HVAC upgrade projects in all the municipalities that they service – Longmont, Loveland, Estes Park, and Fort Collins.

Leigh Cushing of the Boulder County EnergySmart program will discuss commercial rebates available from EnergySmart and Xcel Energy.

Steve Morgan, PE, CEM (4Sight Energy Solutions) will speak on retrofitting and replacing roof top units (RTUs) and controls.  What are some defining characteristics in deciding when to retrofit/upgrade an existing unit and when should it just be entirely replaced?  What types of retrofits are available and to what types and sizes of equipment do they mostly pertain?  When the path is replacement, what are some additional things that should be considered beyond 'more efficient' equipment?  If time permits, he may also discuss hot water / domestic water heating.
