In this session we will discuss what LED's are, how efficient they are, if they are cost effective, the differences between retrofit and new construction, how to select the right equipment and more

Nancy Clanton, PE, FIES, IALD, LC, LEED Fellow President, Clanton & Associates, Inc.

Nancy E. Clanton is founder and President of Clanton & Associates, a lighting design firm specializing in sustainable design.Nancy is a member of the National Science Foundation committee on solid state lighting. Nancy is chairperson of the IESNA Outdoor Environmental Lighting Committee and Mesopic Committee, past chair of the Model Lighting Ordinance IESNA and IDA joint task force, is a past member of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Lighting Designers, International Dark Sky Association, and the Illuminating Engineering Society. Nancy is currently on the USGBC LEED Environmental Quality Technical Advisory Group. Nancy was a topic editor for the IES Lighting 9thEdition Handbook and her committee was responsible for the production of the IES Recommended Practice on Lighting for the Exterior Environment. Nancy was lighting group leader for Greening of the White House, led the lighting workshops for the C40 conference in Seoul, and was awarded the IES Presidential Award in 1990 and 2006

Adam Perry – Platte River Power Authority
Adam Perry started his energy-efficiency career in Oregon in 2001, where he earned his AS in energy management. For the past 11 years, Perry has managed utility energy-efficiency programs and currently manages them for Platte River Power Authority located in Fort Collins, Colorado.
