Window & Door Installation Training (WDIT)

The correct installation of windows and doors is an often overlooked critical component of ensuring quality energy efficiency and green building work. Make sure you and your contractors understand all the ins and outs of the process. In this class we will:

Provide an outline for best practices and methods of window & door installation regardless of product type. Continue to develop methods that increase the longevity of the structure as a whole.

Develop practices that increase the sustainability of the products used

Provide means and measures for quality of work.

Create Integrity in the system.

Approach to window installation changes from an assumed responsibility to a performance requirement.

Increase the contractor’s knowledge on the extent of work involved in proper installation to avoid liability.
