In this seminar, local green architect and builder Scott Rodwin will guide you through an overview of the basics of green building, so you’ll have a solid understanding of what you see as you visit the houses on the tour. Topics covered will include: energy ratings, active and passive solar design, insulation, mechanical systems, windows, indoor air quality, water use, environmentally preferable materials, and the main green building certifications.
